"Health Informatics Alive" Presentation Archive

The Waterloo Institute for Health Informatics Research has developed a “learning archive” of the presentations by leaders in Health Informatics. This archive is now available for access by anyone interested in the potential of Health Informatics solutions to support a sustainable health system. This archive is the largest and easiest to access source of Health Informatics content in Canada, and it is available at no cost to all.

The archive includes over 40 presentations in the Institute’s Smarter Health Seminar Series, about 15 presentations from 2 conferences, 20 presentations from our Health Informatics Research Seminars, and 24 presentations by Health Informatics students on a wide variety of topics. Speakers include academics, industry professionals, and healthcare professionals. Topics range across all aspects of Health Informatics, from the technological to the psycho-social.

Presentations may be viewed as videos and/or as slides using your browser. Entries in the archive are marked as:

  • PDF (Adobe PDF file)
  • PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint presentation saved for web access)
  • WMV (recorded audio/video)
